This  double Slit is ideal for studying diffraction patterns at straight edge. Our double Slit has sharp metallic edges to ensure a proper diffraction pattern without disturbances caused due to non-uniform or thick edges. It consists of a sharp knife-edge at the center of a clamp. The width of the slit window is adjustable using  thumb screws or by  micrometer fitted to both ends of the window, mounted on stem rod for attaching it to various assemblies. The knife-edge and the sharp edges of the window ensures  diffraction is clear and without any distortion. The slim profile of the mount makes it ideal for use with compact optical assemblies
