Description:
SUGARARC-100 is an AC-DC high carbon chromium electrodes, which has high resistance to abrasion and can carry heavy impact loads in both dry and wet conditions. In the welded conditions, the weld metal hardness is 50-60 HRC.

Applications:
Our offered electrodes are widely used in Sugar Mill Industry for the facing of Hammers, Fiberizer, Cane knives as well as Shredder Hammer. Two layers are normally sufficient though a three layers can be applied for welding of Screw Conveyors, Rock, Scrapper Plate Teeth, Excavator Bucket Lips Teeth. For repairing old deposits, a buffer layer of hard electrode (Rc 25 to Rc 35), should be applied before applying SUGARARC-100. The procedure is recommended for overlaying of hammers and new cane cutting knives .
