I-Chroma II Reader is an immunofluorescence analyzer made to screen major diseases such as Cardiac, Cancers, diabetes, infection markers, infectious diseases, and hormonal disorders. It provides quantitative results with very minimal turn around time thus making it possible for doctors to make informed decisions immediately hence improved patient care.

i-Chroma II reader has been engineered to transform the most complicated immunoassay tests into simple in-house tests which every clinical laboratory can perform with outright accuracy and speed.

i-Chroma™ II reader can perform a wide range of clinical biomarkers including tumor  markers (PSA, CEA, iFOB and AFP), Diabetes (HBa1c, Micro Albumin & Cystatin C), Hormones (T3, T4, TSH, FSH, LH, Prolactin, Progesterone, hCG, Testosterone, AMH, and Cortisol), Infection (CRP, PCT & ASO), Infectious Diseases (HBsAg, HCV, Dengue, Rota Virus & Influenza), Rheumatoid Arthritis ( RF & Anti-CCP), Cardiac Markers ( Tn I, CK-MB, Myoglobin, hsCRP, D-Dimer &  pro-BNP) and gastrointestinal (Calprotectin and H.pylori). Others include ferritin and vitamin D.

i-Chroma II reader is equipped with expandable memory and as new clinical biomarkers are researched and released into clinical practice, the analyzer is easily upgraded to accommodate the new test parameters. Such a feature makes it possible for hospital administrators to avoid unnecessary extra capital investments.

i-Chroma II reader is suitable for a main hospital laboratory where electricity power is guaranteed or as a backup instrument. However, the reader is equipped with a dry cell battery compartment making it even more suitable in areas with poor electricity connectivity. This makes it possible for the reader  to be used close to where the patients resides (POCT).

To perform tests with i-Chroma II reader, the i-Chroma  test kit is required. Each test parameter has got its own test kit. Multiparameter i-Chroma quality controls are supplied separately to monitor the accuracy of the test results. This combination makes i-Chroma II reader a reliable and user-friendly diagnostic equipment.
