• Oscar Malaria Antigen ‘Pan/Pf’ card test is intended used for qualitative detection of Pan (pLDH) and Pf (HRP-II) in human whole blood as in aid of rapid diagnosis of Malaria. It is based upon lateral flow immuno assay and highly specific monoclonal antibodies specific to pLDH (Pan specific) & HRP-II (Pf specific) have been used for coating on nitro cellulose membrane and on colloidal gold conjugate in the test formulation to have better sensitivity and specificity.
• Specimen of choice is freshly collected human whole blood and result can be obtained within 5-20 minutes.
• Oscar Malaria Antigen ‘Pan/Pf’ card test is available in 50T pack and each kit contains individually pouched test cards, disposable droppers, buffer vials and product insert.
• It has shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacturing if stored at 2-30 C under sealed conditions.
