ANTI-VIBRATION TABLES
Anti-vibration tables are necessary while using sensitive equipment that are susceptible to vibrations and shocks in laboratories, meteorology offices, etc.
An anti-vibration table comprises of two different parts viz. an internal part on which the sensitive equipment is place; and an external part which houses the internal part.
The internal part usually has a granite slab mounted on rubber pods that neutralizes the effects of external vibrations and shocks. The external part is usually a stainless steel table with adjustable feet.
