Vacuum Techniques "C-60 Generator unit" basically consists of High Vacuum pumping system, a Generator Chamber, a facility for Carbon Deposition and other arrangements. The vacuum system is specially designed for fast pumping, low back streaming of oil vapour. The usage of quarter swing butterfly valves, makes the operation of vacuum system very simple and easy. The vacuum system is assembled in a movable trolley which facilitates for easy transportation.
The unit will have a approximately 8" size stainless steel chamber with viewing window which acts as generator chamber. The carbon deposition electrodes are water cooled and are designed for high current carrying capacity 10V, 300 Amps, power supply is provided with a facility for continuous varying the current. A collection chamber made out of copper with water cooling facility is provided around the Graphite Electrode to collect the shoot formed due to Arcing. Anode and Cathode are water cooled electrodes and one is fixed electrode and other is a moving electrode. Both the electrodes have a facility for holding Graphite Rod of 6mm dia. The moving electrode can be moved either manually through a micrometer controlled mechanism or automatically through a servo motor so that the Arc persists continuously
