Grooving & Cutting Electrode: These electrodes are designed for high speed, all position, cutting of mild steel and alloy steel, stainless steels, cast iron, nickle alloy, aluminium, copper & bronze etc with a standard 250-600 amps. Dc welding machine. 

Cutting: When cutting a plate, it is advisable to start at the edge nearest to the operater. On light material (3-6) mm the arc is struck & by pushing hand against the rapidly progressing cut, a quick, clean cut will be obtained. Best metal removal is achieved by keeping the electrode in contact with work piece. If the arc is held along the electrode blows & heats the plates with little metal removal. The force of arc cuts a groove & removes the molten metal giving a clean bright finish.
