NRE Rope Tension Meter is a 'portable digital instrument designed for measuring the static tension/load present in a rope or cable'. The instrument is directly fitted on the rope/cable and the tension is digitally displayed on a battery operated digital indicator specially designed for field applications.
This instrument is the perfect solution for measuring the tension in a wide variety of ropes/cables such as steel wire ropes, polypropylene ropes, guy ropes, stay ropes, suspension ropes, overhead catenary ropes, elevator ropes, winch ropes, stay cables, transmission cables, zip line cables, pre-tensioned cable barriers, aircraft cables, etc.
These tension meters are available in various models for load capacities ranging from 100 kg to 40,000 kg for rope/cable diameters ranging from 1 mm to 54 mm (tension meters for load capacities higher than 40,000 kg and rope/cable diameters above 54 mm can be customised)
