SHRINKAGE LIMIT APPARATUS

This Shrinkage Limit Apparatus is intended for the determination of shrinkage factors such as shrinkage limit,  Shrinkage ratio, volumetric shrinkage and liner shrinkage of soils.

The complete set-up comprises of :

• Prong Plate : Made of acrylic sheet 1.25 mm thick and 75 mm square with three metal prongs.
• Plane Plate : Made of acrylic sheet 1.5 mm thick and 75 mm square.
• Shrinkage Dish : 45 mm dia x 15 mm deep made of Brass.
• Glass Cup : 50 to 55 mm dia x 25 mm deep.
