Wide spectral coverage and high resolution is achieved by using a powerful light source and a grating-based monochromator. A conveniently placed control enables the user to quickly orient the grating to provide monochromatic light of desired wavelength. The electronic processing circuits and power supplies are solid-state/LSI-based to ensure high accuracy, stability and long life.
