We specialize in offering Universal Automatic Compaction Apparatus that is a motor driven mechanical compactor. It is highly useful for soil compaction into 100 mm as well as 150 mm dia moulds. Two sets of rammers are included in these, one of 2.6 kg and the other of 4.89 kg, which are arranged for 310 mm and 450 mm fall respectively. For compaction of soil, 150 mm dia moulds, 100 mm face dia rammers having weight of 4.89 Kg can be used. For 100 mm dia moulds, 50 mm dia is used. The rammer assembly is integrated with a ratchet and pawl arrangement to lift these from the top of the soil layer. When the rammer reaches the necessary height the pawl release the rammer that falls freely on soil surface. The release mechanism is connected with an arm moving up and down that is connected to a reduction gear fixed to the motor through another arm. Again, an automatic blow counter is fitted to the compactor and is used to set the number of blows. The base plate of the specimen mould is precisely fitted to the rotating base plate that make 1/5th revolution per operation. Again, operation is made on 230 volts per 50 cycles of single phase.
