Introduction: This is specially designed machine to cut “V” and “U” notches quickly and precisely for Impact Testing Specimen. The Broach is a Multi progressive toothed tool fitted in the machine.
Operation: The specimen to be notched is mounted in the hand operated fixer. The fixer contained a screw operated ends to ensure correct positioning of the notch. The depth of the notch can also easily adjustable. In one stroke the notch specimen is ready. The broach is fixed in a carrier which is moving vertically up & down. Limit switches are provided at each end of the machine stroke.
