- Has been primarily developed for use in catalysis R & D labs and chemical engineering pilot plants. Each furnace has a height of 6 inches and outer diameter of 5 inches.
- The inner dia can be ¼, 1/2, 1 or 1½ inches.
- The furnace weighs about four kilograms. The inner tube is constructed of metal block of special alloy having high Thermal Conductivity which ensures high heat transfer rates allowing good temperature control.
- The construction is split-open type. It can be electrically heated upto 550 Deg. C. For higher temperature, such furnaces can be specially constructed.
