ABOUT THE UNIT:

The water softener works on the principles of ion exchange system. The main function of the water softner is to soften the hard water for using wherever it is essential.

The softner contains imported, specially made resin, which prevents accumulation of calcium and magnesium salts, which is the main cause for water hardness. The raw water/bore well water is passed through the inlet of the softner and the treated water comes through the outlet. Then the same can be fed into the distiller for better results of the distillation. The softner has to be recharged when the resin exhausts by means of using sodium chloride solution.
