We make available to our clients Hydraulic Jack that is used for different loading application in the field of investigation, determining the load carrying capacity of piles in the field, tensioning of wires in pre-cast structure and loading of members of any type of structures for deformation characteristics. These are also used for applying loads for different tests in field or laboratory. These can be operated with hand with the use of separate pumping units. The jacks are portable and available in varied capacities. The pumping unit is also connected to the hydraulic jack with the help of a flexible connecting pipe of about 2 meter long. The jack is properly fitted with lifting handles for easy and convenient transportation. Following are some of the details of this instrument:

• The approximate lift of the ram is about 90 to 120 mm
• The pumping unit is a single plunger type along with a detachable handle
• The unit is also fixed on a channeled base that has fitted lifting handles
• A pressure release valve is also provided on the pumping unit
• The load is accurately indicated on a 15 cm dial hydraulic pressure gauge of suitable capacity that can be detached from the pump when it is not in use
• The least count of the calibrated dial can be according to the capacity of the gauge (generally 100 divisions for full capacity)
• Lift of the ram - 150 mm
