Korsoster OPA

Korsoster OPA is high level sterilizer for use in re-processing heat sensitive medical devices. It has a broader material compatibility compared to glutaraldehyde. Korsoster OPA solution provides rapid high level disinfection in 12 minutes at a room temperature for manual processing. It is particularly active against mycobacteria including glutaraldehyde resistant strains  of M.chelonae.  Korsoster OPA solution is ready to use, requiring no activation and has minimum odor.

Composition:

Active ingredients: Ortho‐ Phthalaldehyde (OPA): 0.55% w/v other ingredients: DI water,buffering agents, chelating agents and corrosion inhibitors.

Microbicidal properties:Bactericidal,Fungicidal, Tuberculocidal,Sporicidal,Virucidal against enveloped virus (incl.Covid-19,HBV,HIV,HCV,SARS Virus), Virucidal (parvo,adeno, papova,polio , vaccinia virus and HAV). Also effective against antibiotic resistant organisms, and glutaraldehyde resistant strains of M.chelonae.
