Radio Synchronizing of Impulse Sources for Seismic Exploration

Wireless Hammer Switch - RTM may be used for wireless synchronization of impulse sources. RTM units have been used with the following sources:

• Sledge Hammer (with Hammer switch)

Master Slave operation - RTM units can be used to synchronized multiple seismic recorders:

• Master-Slave can use single RTM Encoder with multiple RTM Decoders

Integrated Radio Interface - RTM units can be used with almost any radio

Integrated GPS interface - The source GPS position is sent back to the Encoder

Seismic Recorders - RTM units can be used with most seismic recorders. Special RTI (Recording Truck Interface) serial status and GPS messages are available with the following recorders

• Sercel SN408 and SN388
• SSC DAQLink and I/O System II recorders
