Sterizen Prep Plus

Sterizen Prep Plus has a broad spectrum, rapid acting and persistent antimicrobial activity for more than 48 hours. it is effective in the presence of blood and organic matter. These properties are due to unique 5% CHG/ 70% IPA formulation of Sterizen Prep Plus. Chlorhexidine gluconate a cationic bisbigunide works by destroying the bacterial cell membrane and precipitating cell contents. Alcohol denatures the cell proteins. As a result , Sterizen Prep Plus skin antiseptic provides better broad spectrum, immediate , cumulative and residual antibacterial activity.

Features:

• IPA penetrates the cell wall more completely which permeates the entire cell, coagulates all proteins, killing the microorganism.
• High percentage of Chlohexidene bisbiguanide ensure strong association to the exposed anionic sites on the cell wall and cell membrane of the microbes. This causes leakage of cell materials and death of microbes.
• Positively charged chlorhexidene molecules neutralizes the negatively charged bacterial cell this causes rapid bacterial death.
• Broad spectrum, immediate, cumulative and residual antibacterial activity for more than 48 hours.
• Effective even in the presence of blood and organic matter
• Destroys the bacterial cell membrane and precipitates the cell contents
