  • For determining the slump of fine aggregate in estimation of absorption of fine aggregate.
It consists of the following :-

  • A metal mould in the form of frustumof a cone 40 mm dia at the top, 90 mm dia at the bottom and 73 mm in height.
  • A metal tamper having a flat circular tamping face 25 mm dia and weighing 340 g approximately.
